Thoughts
The day was fine, he strolled in at no 9
The pitch was hard but firm.
He met a few googlies on the way
But his aim was straight& true,
A few 4's here & a six - my word , but a jolly good job their wicket keeper left alot to be desired!!
The day was long & hot and night drew in
The bowler found his length & Alan said enough. My day is done , let another have his moment in the sun.
